The crane series consists of multiple models with varying lengths, all designed for quick, screw-free installation and lightweight portability. Each model features a robust tripod, a U-type head with servo lens control, high-precision encoding, and digital control handles with adjustable motion settings. All include the core components for full operation, with additional wiring and support elements scaling with crane length.
MJ VR's pedestals supports substantial payloads with adjustable working height and extended stroke range. It includes a digital barometer, operates across extreme temperatures, and provides high-precision tracking along all axes.
Two pan-tilt head models are available, each designed for different payload capacities. Both offer multiple counterbalance settings, adjustable drag levels, high-resolution pan and tilt control, and precise absolute encoding. One features a standard mounting bowl, while the other has a flat-bottom design.
MJ-DB001 Tracking Box
This tracking system delivers high precision with 0.0001° accuracy, sub-1 ms delay, and one-time calibration. It outputs Free-D data via UDP or RS422, fully supporting the FREE-D protocol, and includes remote lens control for zoom and focus.
The data box features dual power inputs (USB-C 5V/3A DC and camera 12V/1.5A), 23-bit absolute encoders, and tilt resolution of 8.3 million steps per 360°. It supports Canon RS-422 and Fujinon RS-232 full servo lenses, with Genlock compatibility through black burst signal or 12G-SDI for precise synchronization.
